How Physiotherapy Can Help You

Knee pain

Physiotherapy can help you recover and rehabilitate after injury or illness and if you suffer from a disability or condition.  Physiotherapists can treat these issues with movement and exercise, manual therapy, using the latest technologies, educating and by giving advice.  They are able to treat patients of all ages to help manage pain and prevent disease. By encouraging their patients to develop good habits and facilitating recovery physiotherapists are trained to enable people to be able to stay in work longer and remain independent for as long as possible.

You can benefit from physiotherapy at any point in your life.  Physiotherapists can help with long term back or neck pain, or if you suffer from a sudden injury through a fall or playing sport.  They can also help you reach your peak performance if you’re training for a sporting event and they can help you recover from childbirth.  If you’re suffering from pain or a long-term condition physiotherapists can help you by providing the right advice and activities that can help manage your issue.

At ALO Physiotherapy Clinic we believe that our physiotherapy sessions should be an experience that you can enjoy and not only a set of exercises to do and take home.  We are very passionate about our work and we will endeavour to use our full capabilities to ensure that you return to full function and with less pain.

We use a hands-on approach to physiotherapy combined with Electrical Therapies and Rehabilitation.  We work as a catalyst to your fast recovery, and we agree with the popular adagio: If you think you can or if you think you can not, you are probably right.

We present our patients with realistic goals and will create a plan with you to achieve these; we call this the Physio Plan of Care.

We are forward-thinking in our approach to physiotherapy – and to deny the power and evidence-based on the Electrical Therapies such as (Tecar Therapy, Vibration Therapy, Laser) – combined with the expertise of hands-on physio and a specific rehabilitation programme, is to deny a fast recovery.

We integrate the natural healing process of an injury with a positive interference and expertise to maximise recovery.  How we do this? Our team of physio experts understands the process of healing and when and how to intervene with the correct approach, to aid a swift return to good health.

During your first appointment, your Physiotherapist will advise you on your Physio Plan of Care which means the number of times that they expect to see you per week and in total during your treatment.  This means that you know what to expect and when so that you can plan ahead and book your appointments in advance. We also offer discounts for any Plan of Care paid for in advance, giving you peace of mind for less.

Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.

At ALO Physiotherapy Clinic we are a team of physiotherapists with over 20 years experience.  We use movement, exercise and manual therapy alongside the latest developments and technologies in electrotherapy to help ease your pain.

We encourage development and facilitate recovery, enabling people like you to stay in work while helping you to remain independent for as long as possible.

We help sporty city workers, fitness enthusiasts and business people, all who wish to stay active and mobile. Our mantra is to help you relieve your pain – quickly; to stay free from painkillers; to rehabilitate, avoid surgery and future injuries.
